The Free Commercial and Industrial Zone International Forum of Cobija (Bolivia) was held a few days ago, bringing together large companies and high profile institutions in the country. ONTIER Bolivia was invited as an expert in international trade and business internationalisation. Borja Juárez Serna, Country Manager at ONTIER Bolivia, taught a conference talking about what international companies are looking for in order to settle in a new market, the incentives to attract investors, the process of business internationalisation, the factors that can benefit or jeopardise this process and the sectors that are still to be developed.
Also participating in this event were the Director of the Free Trade Zone of Ciudad del Este, Ricardo Maldonado; the Executive Director of the Free Trade Zone Association of the Americas, Camila Moreno; the Governor of Pando, Luis Adolfo Flores; the General Director of Integration and Economic Cooperation, Horacio Usquiano and other municipal and departmental authorities. In addition, more than 50 entrepreneurs met with companies settled in the free trade zone.
